I have been remiss about posting and I apologize. I am a little short on time these days because of a new, delicious project. I am producing and directing a very exciting new show called Atlanta Eats. I have always wanted to work on a food centric show so this is such an exciting gig for me. Each show features 3-4 Atlanta area restaurants, gets into the kitchens with the chefs and, of course, shows off the fabulous food. And next week I get to visit one of my favorite Indian spots for the show. You’re going to have to watch to find out what it is! Speaking of which, Atlanta Eats starts airing on the local CBS station October 20 at 11am. Steak Shapiro is the larger than life host who keeps all the food talk approachable and fun.

Atlanta Eater also broke the story of the show recently and here is a link to their report:

I promise to be back next week with a recipe for my mother’s spicy tea infused chickpeas. They are another slow cooker gem that have so much vibrant, sharp flavor. You gotta have them as part of your Indian repertoire!
